1:15 pm - 2:15 pm Tips and Techniques: WebFOCUS 8 Responsive Form Design Florida Department Of Transportation Karen Veenstra Karen has been working in the IT industry for more than 30 years in various state government agencies such as; Florida Department of Highway Safety, Department of Labor, Florida Lottery, Florida State University, and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Karen?s experience has run the gamut from Programmer, DBA, Business Analyst, Project Manager, Supervisor, Assistant Director and Consultant. She has a BS degree in Computer Science from Florida State University. Karen has been working with Information Builders' products in some way, shape, or form since the mid-80?s on a number of different platforms. Customer Spotlight Salon 8 (150) Getting Started Government This session will focus on tips and techniques for responsive launch form design, taken directly from the Florida Department of Transportation's (DOT) migration from WebFOCUS 7.7 to WebFOCUS 8.2. The session will also cover development best practices and includes a review of a set of responsive form templates offered to the DOT user community in the business units. The form templates jump start the re-writing of legacy HTML launch forms into new responsive forms suited for the WebFOCUS 8 MRE and portal environments. Prerequisite:Familiarity with App Studio.
RCD Business Solutions Roger Panfil President of RDC Business Solutions (RDC Biz), Roger has well over 30 years of experience in the development, marketing, sale, and delivery of software and software-based solutions, with much of that experience involving technologies from Information Builders. During his 10 years of employment with Information Builders, Roger delivered multiple products to market, culminating his career as VP of Product Marketing for iWay Software. He has a degree in MIS from IUP, and attended University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Evening School.
 
3:45 pm - 4:45 pm Montgomery County PD Ensures Data Is Timely and Accurate With WebFOCUS Montgomery County - Department of Police Thomas Mullen Thomas Mullen is deputy director of the Information Management and Technology Division in the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCP) in Gaithersburg, MD. Mr. Mullen began his information management career more than 35 years ago, managing several federal contracts for Health and Human Services and Department of Defense information processes. Since 1998 he has managed several different public safety information-sharing projects. Mr. Mullen earned his BS from University of Maryland and is a graduate student at UMUC. Lisa has been with Montgomery County for 13 years and, for the past ten years, has been the IJIS Program Director, where she is focused on delivering automation and efficiencies to the criminal justice agencies of Montgomery County. Customer Spotlight Salon 8 (150) Intermediate Government In this session, Montgomery County Technology Services will detail how Information Builders' business intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions were integrated with a newly developed Jail Management System. This has created the perfect mix for a technically advanced, three-tiered web-based solution and the delivery of real-time data points and analytics to the highly transient and fast-paced environment of a county jail.

In his current role, Greg is dedicated to the transformation of processes at YRP to ensure all key areas are effectively using data to drive operational and strategic decisions. Prior to joining YRP, Mr. Stanisci had his own software training and consulting company geared to the implementation and adoption of enterprise systems. She earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from North Carolina State University and has been with SECU for four years. For the past three years, Corey has used Information Builders products primarily to develop reports, maintain security and assist business users. Customer Spotlight Salon 5 (150) Intermediate Government Every day, SECU uses ReportCaster to notify more than 270 branches of vital actions for regulatory compliance, notifies users through subscriptions and archives previous versions. Each month 45 reports are run and made available to VPs and SVPs using report libraries. Join us as we discuss our solutions, configuration, and integration with our external scheduling system.
State Employees Credit Union Kyle Gunter Kyle Gunter is an analytics specialist with State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) in Raleigh, NC. He has been working with SECU for six years and with Information Builders products for three years. Kyle is part of a team that focuses on report development, business user support, and data integration and validation. SECU is currently on version 8.1.05 and uses DataMigrator, WebFOCUS, and Data Quality Center.
