Information Builders Aditya Sriram Aditya Sriram is a PhD candidate in the faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo where he is a member of KIMIA Lab (Laboratory for Knowledge Inference in Medical Image Analysis). He brings extensive understanding of how Artificial Intelligence moves research and industries forward. Since 2011, his research activities encompass content-based retrieval of medical images using machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision approaches. He has developed learning schemes and descriptors for medical imaging and published his works in top-tier journals and conferences. Learn to Add Custom Visualizations to WebFOCUS Information Builders Dan Weingart Dan Weingart, director of Visualization Products, has spent 20 years in the charting and visualization world. In his previous job, he helped design the graphing engines for Oracle, MicroStrategy, BusinessObjects, and many others. Insights at IPG: Interactive Portals and Dashboards Power the Business IPG Nathaniel Paulson Nathaniel has been working with WebFOCUS for five years as an administrator and developer. He began working with WebFOCUS at Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, OH, where he served primarily as an admin for two years. Nathaniel later moved to Tampa, FL, where he has worked primarily as a developer with administrative responsibilities. Customer Spotlight Salon 10 (300) Non Technical Wholesale Intertape Polymer Group Inc. (IPG), together with its subsidiaries, operates globally in the packaging industry. It develops, manufactures, and sells various tape products, void-fill solutions, and films. One of IPG's early analytical deliverables was an executive portal that provides interactive analytics and insights, which was delivered within a few months. Expanding beyond the initial project, IPG has deployed a family of portals called Insights, which helps IPG business teams run and track their business. These portals have participation across the fabric of the company, from CEO to sales management to operational professionals. This session will survey the portals and dashboards that help run the IPG business during a period of major growth. All the data and JavaScript needed to embed the data are packaged within the output file. Using an active report, there can interaction with the data, work offline without any additional plug-ins or programs, and save the report on a local machine with active report functionality. In this lab, it will be demonstrated how easy it is to customize the styling of all elements of the active report using cascading style sheets (CSS) class selectors. Implementation and Use of Dashboards for Improving Patient Care Rhode Island Quality Institute Luke Bruneaux Luke Bruneaux, Ph.D., is director of data quality and analytics at the Rhode Island Quality Institute, a non-profit organization that hosts the statewide Healthcare Information Exchange (HIE). He oversees RIQI's Care Management Dashboard analytics product, research collaborations with the Brown University Center for Biomedical Informatics, and federal grant reporting to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Prior to RIQI, Luke managed the clinical Data Science team at athenahealth, a cloud-based Electronic Health Record company. He holds a Ph.D. in physics from Harvard University with a focus on Systems Biology. Customer Spotlight   Non Technical Health Services Rhode Island Quality Institute (RIQI) hosts Rhode Island's Healthcare Information Exchange (HIE), which allows healthcare providers to access complete patient records at the point of care. To complement the HIE, RIQI used Information Builders' software solutions to deliver care management dashboards so that providers can be made aware, in real time, of patient emergency room visits, inpatient admissions, and discharges. This has allowed care providers to intervene at critical moments and provide better quality for their high-risk and general patient populations. In his 45 year carrier in the IT field he has worked on various Business Intelligence projects going as far back as the mid 1980?s. Normand?s IT experience spans, Insurance, Banking, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Finance, Investments, the Government, and the Medical field. Greater Lawrence Family Health Center Patrick Grotton Patrick has over 36 years of design and development experience with complex systems. He joined GLFHC in 2004 as the organization?s inaugural CIO. He was the CIO at Mercy Health System of Maine for 5 years prior to joining GLFHC. He has worked closely with the GLFHC team to strategically direct them in the use of automation within the healthcare environment including completing the adoption of the MiSYS EMR and the eventual transition to the current Centricity EMR and Practice Management Systems. He has also provided the direction in the growth and development of the organization?s reporting and data analytics capabilities. He is currently also serving as the CIO for the Merrimac Valley ACO. He has a BS in Business Administration with honors with concentrations in Marketing and Management from the University of Maine and a MBA from Babson College. The Bill of Lading form is a legal document that is used by many customers in the transportation industry and needed to look exactly the same as the current report. Originally, it was developed in WebFOCUS from scratch using only the WebFOCUS language. No GUI was used in creating the report. Data Labs Junior Ballroom G Getting Started   In this lab, we will walk our customers through building a process flow using various iWay Service Manager (iSM) Edges that are used to connect pflow objects. We will show how to customize edges to route messages, explain how to view what edges are returned from each object, and build reusable error handling pflow. Also, attendees will learn how to maintain important information about a message when an error/notification is processed.
Information Builders Inessa Gerber Inessa Gerber is a long-time member of the iWay Software division, and has been part of various Information Builders teams, including solution architects, and product and project management. Currently, she is a product manager for the iWay Integration Suite and takes part in product management for the Omni product line, as well as manages the product releases. She works closely with various internal divisions, including iWay Support, Documentation Services, and Professional Services. She also works with prospects and customers to integrate their requirements into the iWay product line.

Information Builders Jennifer Lalik Jennifer Lalik works in Information Builders' Advanced Technical Services as a senior technical specialist. She started as a software developer in IT, working for a customer for 20 years before joining Information Builders. She spent her first 13 years as a field sales engineer in the Philadelphia East Area. Now Jennifer supports world wide sales and customer activities for our WebFOCUS products. She is involved in all aspects of designing and delivering WebFOCUS solutions.

Holding various positions in the Product, Sales, Consulting and Customer Education groups, he has developed iWay Service Manager-based applications in diverse industries. Currently, Lori works in the Customer Education department as an instructor. Information Builders Ben Naphtali During his long career at Information Builders, Ben Naphtali has distinguished himself as an expert in several areas across the WebFOCUS product line. Ben's extensive experience includes past roles as manager in Customer Support Services and technical specialist for Advanced Technical Services. His current role is product implementation manager of WebFOCUS Architecture and Security within the Business Intelligence Products group.
Information Builders Mark Winslow Mark Winslow has been fascinated by maps ever since he learned to read a Texaco roadmap on the hood of his father's car. Now in his 13th year at Information Builders, Mark has been combining GIS with WebFOCUS solutions since 2008. He's still trying to figure out how to properly re-fold a paper map.
